Medicine is #1 after the Armed Forces, a field that needs constant support, because the sick and wounded were, are and will be.
The health care system of Ukraine, despite all the efforts of the professional community and the relevant ministry, remains underfunded. Everyone knows that a doctor is an employee with a high income in the world. In Ukraine, the official monthly salary of most doctors in the communal sector does not exceed UAH 25,000. (approximately $600), which is a low estimate of the work of people who save the lives of wounded Ukrainians.
Today, doctors and nurses have to take risks and perform medical manipulations under the sound of sirens and during explosions, they conduct unprecedented operations in hospitals, collecting the injured population, sometimes in pieces, so that the Ukrainian people continue to fight against the “evil empire” for their freedom and independence .
It is very important for Ukrainian doctors to feel our support, the support of ordinary people, the support of the military, the support of all those who believe in our victory. We all need to unite around the most important area of our life, its salvation and treatment, around medicine, which is #1 after the Armed Forces.
